I am currently an ELA Curriculum Coordinator (JPK-5th grade) and have been an educator for 40 years. Over the years, I've worked with students in pre-school to 12th grade. The power of story, creativity, and curiosity have kept teaching and learning exciting and new. I'm always looking forward to the next chapter! View all posts by wordancerblog

The plant life is colourful and busy. It’s great that somebody planted a garden next to a harbour, and it’s wonderful you used is as an inspiration to write a poem.
Such a gorgeous photo to go with your lovely poem. Reading your words imparts such a sense of peace and appreciation for nature, this detailed, close examination of flowers welcoming creatures.
I love all the colorful, sensory appeal of scents and movement in nature! This is both as calming and energetic as a summer day!
Such gorgeous imagery! You recreate the sensations so beautifully.
Your words are so beautiful.
